Update from Seedcamp and more …

Hi

I said I would keep you updated on a couple of fronts.

Firstly we didn’t win Seedcamp and only received word back this afternoon. I am happy we entered as it was a great experience. 250 teams entered from Europe, 20 made it to the finals and we made it to the final few from these 20 teams. There can be only one winner and it wasn’t us on this occasion. But we need to be proud of how far we got in the competition.

Now I am glad to let people know that TradersNow have signed a heads of investment term sheet with an investor. I will introduce this investor in a few weeks but he will be a very valued member of the team who not only will invest financially but he will contribute to the growth in so many other ways also.

Q School Phase 2 is starting on Nov 21st. Shaun Overton (MD of OneStepRemoved) is flying in from Texas again. Professor Jonathan Blackledge, Shaun, Afshin and I will be sitting down to start work on the entry strategy for The Q. We have lots of ideas come to mind since we broke up in late August and are so looking forward to continuing our work.

Shaun will now be engaged to work full time on The Q from Nov 14th so this is a huge step for the company. When I think of what we achieved in just a couple of weeks back in August. Now I am thinking of what we can achieve with Shaun, Jonathan, Afshin and I working on the development of The Q full time for the next few months. I am very excited.

I hope people are enjoying the journey. I did say it was going to be a lot of work and it is that for sure. I will be in touch real soon.
